About the artist

Artist Usha Shantharam is a Fine Artist creating artwork in 'Contemporary Impressionist' style. She is a certificate holder on ‘Post War Abstract Expressionism’ from the Museum Of Modern Art (MOMA).

Her artwork evokes a feeling of peace, comfort, hope and contentedness in the heart of people and helps them look at the brighter side of life. She has to her credit more than 15 group art shows and two solo shows, and has exhibited her artwork all over India. She is an internationally renowned artist and her artwork can be found in the collection of Collectors all over the world.

Usha’s paintings have been featured on book covers and magazine articles, BBC World News Hangout, and on National TV.

Painting called 'Dance of Mahishasura Mardini' was described as ' A wonderful piece of Art' by Benjamin Zand director/BJ at BBC World News Hangout on YouTube.

 Her painting portraying actress Sridevi in the movie 'Mr India' was appreciated and shown during a talk show on National TV channel by the actress herself.
